To reach National Handicrafts & Handlooms Museum (Crafts Museum), Ministry of Textiles, Pragati Maidan, Bhairon Road, New Delhi from the ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal), Sarai Kale Khan Bust Terminal, New Delhi either one can take a Auto rickshaw or a local bus. The bus will drop you at the Pragati Maidan. The Museum is just opposite to Purana Quila on Bhairon Road, back to Matka Peer and near to Bhairon Mandir. There is a separate entrance for the Museum. From the New and Old Delhi railway station, an autorickshaw from the pre-paid stand will bring you straight to the museum. From the airport, auto rickshaws and taxis can be hired from the pre-paid booth. The museum is approximately 100 yards from the bus stand, 5 kms. from the railway station, 6 kms from ISBT and 30 kms. from the airport.

Closing & Holidays

Exhibition Galleries will remain closed on Monday & five National Holidays
Crafts Demonstration and Crafts Museum Shop will remain open on all days.

Photography

Photography without permission is prohibited. Permission is obtainable from Administrative Officer/Reception Counter. For general photography in open areas no charge is levied.

Publication

These are on sale at the Crafts Museum Shop.

Gate Pass

Except for a regular handbag or briefcase, all items taken out of the premises will need a gate-pass which is obtainable from the Administrative Village Complex Reception Counter

Guided

Guided Tours for groups are arranged upon prior request.

Wheelchairs are also available on request for physically handicapped.
