Hansuli - Beautiful studded with Kundan work with a floral motif with centre. Pearls studded on the edge. The back is beautifully enammelled with floral designs with peacock in between. This rigid neck-band or hansli, resembling the collar-bone, is embellished with semi-precious stones in the kundan. Under the Muslim sovereigns, Indian craftsmen excelled in the art of meenakari or enamelling'. They also mastered the technique of kundan, the setting of precious and semi-precious stones within bands of gold.
