The figure showcases a terracotta Temple brick, from Bankura, West Bengal. The plaque is square in shape, and depicts an iconic scene where Balakrishna is steeling butter (Makhan-chor). On the right, Gopi can be seen churning the butter Matki, while he is seen running away after stealing. The figures are richly carved with princely ornaments, and Krishna can be seen wearing a Dhoti carved with wave like lines and Gopi is wearing Lehnga Choli.
